Transfer your ADHD care to ADHD GP Clinic
Comprehensive GP-led ADHD care for patients with an existing ADHD diagnosis.
If you've already been diagnosed with ADHD by a psychiatrist, psychologist, another GP or an ADHD clinic, you may be able to transfer your ongoing care to ADHD GP Clinic.
Every transfer of care begins with a comprehensive clinical review of your previous diagnosis, treatment history and supporting documentation. This enables us to understand your clinical history, review your current management and determine the most appropriate pathway for your ongoing ADHD care.

Need help obtaining your records?If you don't have copies of your previous ADHD reports, don't worry — with your consent, we can request them from your previous treating clinician on your behalf.
What it costsYour initial transfer consultation is $180, with an $87.10 Medicare rebate — about $93 out of pocket. Where a longer clinical work-up is required — for example, starting medication or incomplete records — the consultation is $250, with a $128.35 rebate — about $122 out of pocket. Occasionally a transfer needs a short bridging review to fill a gap in the records — never a fresh diagnosis, and always discussed with you first.See the full fee breakdown →
If your assessment was completed some time agoYour diagnosis stands. ADHD is a lifelong condition and a valid diagnosis doesn't expire, so we're not going to ask you to prove it again. Assessment standards do keep changing, and older paperwork sometimes doesn't contain everything we need in order to keep prescribing safely. Where something is missing, we fill that gap — a short bridging review, not a fresh diagnosis. We'll always explain what's missing and why before anything is arranged. This follows the World Federation of ADHD's transfer-of-care standard, which is clear that a valid diagnosis made elsewhere should be respected and upheld.
