Your first appointment is face-to-face on the Sunshine Coast. Telehealth / video-link follow-ups are available across Queensland for eligible appointments only, in line with our clinical guidelines and Queensland’s December 2025 prescribing framework.
Diagnosis isn’t the finish line.
If ADHD is diagnosed, your care can continue with us through treatment, prescribing where clinically appropriate, monitoring and ongoing management.

Your questions, answered.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You do not need a GP referral to access ADHD GP Clinic or start your ADHDconnect journey.
If you have a regular GP, we can keep them informed about your ADHD care with your consent, helping your broader healthcare remain connected.
What does it cost?
Appointment fees depend on where you are in your ADHD journey and the type of consultation you need.

ADHDconnect is included as part of your care — there is no separate platform subscription or access fee.
I was diagnosed years ago somewhere else. Do I start again?
Not necessarily. ADHD is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition, so an older diagnosis does not automatically mean you need to repeat a full ADHD assessment.
What can change is how ADHD affects you. Your symptoms, responsibilities, health and circumstances may be different now from when you were originally diagnosed.
If you’re transferring your care to us, we may ask you to complete a short re-evaluation so your clinician can understand how ADHD is affecting you today and determine what ongoing care is appropriate.
Can everything be done by telehealth?
Your initial consultation with our Specialist ADHD GP takes place face-to-face on the Sunshine Coast.
Subsequent appointments can be completed by telehealth where clinically appropriate, giving you the option to continue your care remotely for convenience.
What happens to my information?
Your information is stored securely and becomes part of your connected ADHDconnect record, helping your clinician build a clearer picture of your history, health and ongoing care.
Access to your information is restricted to authorised clinical staff, and access to your record is logged.
You can request access to your own information in accordance with our privacy and records processes.
